Geneviève Racette has captivated audiences with her ethereal vocals, vulnerable lyricism, and emotional depth since her debut in 2014. The internationally renowned Québécois folk-pop-americana artist crafts music that is both deeply personal and universally relatable, earning her a growing presence in both French and English-speaking music scenes.

Her breakthrough came with No Water, No Flowers (2019), which propelled her from Quebec recognition to national acclaim. The album earned her a Canadian Folk Music Award, widespread media praise, and a standout performance with City and Colour at Osheaga. She followed up with Satellite (2022), a record that expanded her reach even further. The album featured a hit duet with City and Colour and received acclaim from Rolling Stone, Exclaim!, CBC, Women of Americana, and Sirius XM, solidifying her place in the folk and Americana scenes.

In 2024, Geneviève released Golden—her most personal and powerful album yet. Exploring themes of healing, resilience, and anger, the record debuted at #3 on the Folk Alliance International charts in November. Her song The Reasons (I’ll Be Alright) was featured on the hit show Heartland, introducing her music to an even wider audience. To celebrate, she embarked on a seven-week album release tour, sharing her songs with listeners across North America.

Her presence in the folk scene continues to grow. She was a finalist in the 2024 Kerrville New Folk competition and has secured an official showcases at Folk Alliance International 2025. At FAI, she’s also hosting The Sober Room, a substance-free showcase space for artists.

Passionate about fostering inclusivity and uplifting fellow musicians, Geneviève continues to refine her artistic vision while building a lasting impact—one song at a time.
